A rich and famous person dies and the general public’s in sorrow/ trust funds and TV specials start up tomorrow/ when most people die they get an obituary at best/ why is it so fashionable to mourn a rich person’s death What is the fashion of mourning a rich person’s death Princess Diana dies and look at the impact/ malnutrition kills millions, who cares about the foreign, poor, and black/ children beaten to death daily and nobody cries/ the more money one has, the more important is one’s life The more money one has, the more important is one’s life Another homeless man frozen to death in the streets/ his life is considered a burden to the middle class and the elite/ inner city schools lacking the most basic of supplies/ a revolving door of forgotten problems that will lead to our demise...and nobody cares, nobody cares, nobody cares, nobody cares.
2.
This land is your land, this land is my land/ how the hell can anyone own truly stolen land/ merciless killing and massive slaughter/ in the name of the holy father/ in manifest destiny and christianity, murder was the name of the game/ stripping people of their culture/ forcing them to live like vultures/ I should be proud of this, shit, I'm ashamed/ now we have lines and borders/ supposedly for law and order/ but it's just so american corporations can get dollar a day labor Some of the products that I have say made in USA/ that's just where the corporation's headquarters have decided to stay/ so starving mexicans and americans of the lower class/ once again both get stabbed in the back This land’s your land, this land’s my land, this land’s our land, that’s a bunch of shit
3.
Reproduction of dogs to make a few bucks/ you say you care about them, but you don’t give a fuck/ giving them away to your brainless friends/ pit bulls for tough guys, a sickening trend Innocent lives created, half will die How many of those pups do you follow up on/ is denial the key when you know that you’re wrong/ ever been to the pound to see the dogs there/ maximum capacity because their owners don’t care Enter an animal shelter you can feel the despair/ you can taste the depression that has saturated the air/ cold cage to sleep in, a gutter to fill with shit and piss/ soon the confusion is replaced with hopelessness Countdown continues to end another life/ frightened and shivering, they know they’re going to die/ half ass owners, careless breeders fill the vat with bodies/ thousands more everyday to add to the stench of the rotting.
4.
Homosapiens, the most intelligent species on earth, leading to it’s own extinction since its day of birth/ animals are encroached upon, left nowhere to run, too weak to escape, man shoots them down for fun/ natural habitats are squandered and daily species die, man continues its destruction without even a blink of an eye Man pollutes the land, man pollutes the sea, man destroys all in its path to get ahead in the economy/ man pollutes the land, man pollutes the sea, man destroys, man kills, man is soon to become it’s own worst enemy Litter covers the earth, it’s water is completely rank, the ocean has become man’s extended septic tank/ sucking up the resources and spitting out the waste, taking more than giving at an incredible pace/ new diseases and resiliant viruses arise, indiscriminate epidemics prepare to wipe out human life Man pollutes the land, man pollutes the sea, man destroys all in its path to get ahead in the economy/ man pollutes the land, man pollutes the sea, man destroys, man kills, man is soon to become it’s own worst enemy Now/ it’s time/ for mankind to pay the ultimate price/ as humans will perish A direct result of careless greed, wasting and taking more than one needs/ the inevitable surfaces a disturbing reality, food’s unsafe to eat, air’s unsafe to breathe/ the kindness of man can rarely be exaggerated, it’s thoughtless arrogance can’t be underestimated/ slaughtering, defiling, never giving anything back, foolishly mankind puts itself under attack/ due to the viruses that have been uncovered and all the money and technology in the world can’t discover a cure for the diseases which are a payback for all that has suffered

We’ve got research, military, it’s time to think of humanity/ I’m sick of research and military, it’s time to think of humanity Poor kids with no education, it’s a wonder they live off crime/ busted for living a life of poverty, train to be a crook while doing time/ funds aren’t there to teach them shit, they’ll leave jail unable to read/ their lives have been thrown into a trough, ingredients for political hog feed We’ve got research, military, it’s time to think of humanity/ I’m sick of research and military, it’s time to think of humanity Little girl lives on the street, she won’t get to eat today/ she’ll fall asleep on the pavement and hope the pain will go away/ it’s her own fault her life’s unfair, she should have raised her parents better/ she’s her own mother, she’s her own father, and she’s her own baby sitter Forgotten problems, smacked us in the face/ led by leaders against the human race (X2) Have your ever missed a meal/ have you ever been forced to steal/ have you ever been abused/ missed school so no one sees the bruise Every child can grow, it can be done, all they need is half a chance/ it’s not your problem, you’re not the one, still you haven’t even taken a glance (X2)

Ever since I was thirteen years old I’ve contemplated suicide/ here I am twelve years later stumbling my way through life/ everything so dear to me has crumbled to useless dust/ the future holds the same old shit that I’ve come to see as monotonous I try to see the brighter side/ it’s there but I unconsciously deny/ my experiences, I cognitively distort/ to negative emotions, or something of the sort Back when I was a little kid I wanted a bb gun/ I put it on my list every Christmas, but I never received one/ now I’m old enough to own a real gun and I guess I don’t for the best/ because if I did I’d use it for sure and lay myself to rest I live for those who care for me/ their expectations push me to achieve/ success, it’s always defined by someone else/ and slowly, but surely, I lose all belief in myself My decisions and my actions that result in dissatisfaction seem to be done for someone else/ disappointment, bitterness, failure and resentment make up my emotions and all I have felt/ I know I have so much more than what most could hope for, so deep inside hides my friend/ so whatever it is I’ll accept it, I’m gonna make the most of it, I’ll stick it out until the end/ I’ll hate the world and all the shit that comes with it until the fuckin’ end

Thievery 00:29
It’s a fuckin’ piece of shit world that we live in/ the majority of us have to work for some rich dickhead/ who talks to and treats their employees like shit/ dealing with assholes everyday just to fuckin’ live... But that’s still no excuse to... Steal from someone as poor as you/ when chances are they have to/ work their whole lives away/ for a pocketful of change/ I know how it is to be broke all the time/ so when the poor steal from the poor it’s a death deserving crime/ If you truly have to steal rip off a retail chain/ maybe scam the government, or rob a fuckin’ god damn bank/ I can understand stealing food and things we all need/ but those controlled by their greed, I simply hold no sympathy It’s just not a necessity to rip off everyone you meet/ I say we cut the hands off of every materialistic thief/ maybe if we’re lucky they’ll die from gang green/ and if they happen to live they’ll never steal from me or you again
8.
Feelings tend to ruin a friendship, feelings are what makes one/ I thought you meant just what you said, but living up to it is not as fun/ after I’m assured you wanted me I felt just a little too damn/ I guess somewhere I’d lost my key and now I’m locked out in the cold Should I live up to my rep and be Mr. Nice Man/ wait until how many men later to be your second hand (X2) What about our plans to be together and all the things we were supposed to do/ I really wanted everything to work, but I guess it didn’t mean shit to you/ I’ll take this one as a lesson so I won’t follow my heart/ it’s just funny how the end came around before it had a chance to start... a chance to start What kind of a fool was I to think respect and love is something that’s earned/ when my emotions sped toward a wall and you gave me nowhere to turn And all the caring and things I gave were gifts to the royalty/ trapped in a cage for testing, experiments done so now I’m free/ to me feelings are real and I believe they shouldn’t be hurt/ that’s why I’m behind in the world and end up treated like dirt When things backfire and you realize immediate choices aren’t always best/ don’t just wallow in your sorrows, it’s always sad when you fail on your own test I suppose that’s just life and another one of it’s tough breaks/ all the things you said you felt, now seem to be so fake/ so much easier to accept if I didn’t keep my dick in my pants/ lucky for you he didn’t do the same, in my eyes you’ve lost your stance I’m not gonna be Mr. Nice Man/ I’m not gonna be your second hand (X2)

Today, marriage and divorce go hand in hand/ what a surprise, when does life ever go as planned/ don't get me wrong there ain't nothing bad with getting married/ but some are in love with a tradition that doesn't need to be carried Three percent of mammals X3 are monagomous Only three percent of mammals X3 are monogamous If only three percent of mammals are monogamous, then how the fuck did I end up to be Is monogamy natural or something we’ve been shown/ or is it the safety of the status quo/ could be a combination, or none of the above/ and that's just what happens when you’re truly in love Three percent of mammals X3 are monagomous Only three percent of mammals X3 are monogamous If only three percent of mammals are monogamous, then some of us got sucked into that three percent

Sometimes 01:50
Sometimes I’m filled with love, other times I’m filled with hate/ maybe it’s the situation, maybe it’s the one I create/ sometimes I wanna live, other times I wanna die/ sometimes I lay awake and I don’t know why/ sometimes I’m filled with love, other times I’m filled with hate/ maybe it’s the situation, maybe it’s the one I create/ sometimes I wanna live, other times I wanna die/ sometimes I lay awake and I just don’t know why/ I don’t know why Sometimes I wish I was celibate, most of the time I want sex/ why do I want what destroys, failure can only be next/ most of the time I’m down on me, but I like to be a realist/ of all the things that make me feel like shit, relationships are top of the list Sometimes I’m filled with love, other times I’m filled with hate/ maybe it’s the situation, maybe it’s the one I create/ sometimes I wanna live, other times I wanna die/ sometimes I lay awake and I don’t know why/ sometimes I’m filled with love, other times I’m filled with hate/ maybe it’s the situation, maybe it’s the one I create/ sometimes I wanna live, other times I wanna die/ sometimes I lay awake and I just don’t know why/ I don’t know why Sometimes I try to lie to myself, other times I deny how I feel/ I’m so sick of doing that, just once I want something real/ sometimes I can take a fall, other times I need someone there/ a lot of times I missed out on that, who said life was fair

Cold winter morning and I'm fucking freezin'/ everyone around me is coughin' and sneezin'/ I’m wishin’ I had my jacket, but I see girls in half shirts/ you know they ain't wearin' them for comfort, they just wanna flirt/ they wanna flirt/ in their half shirts/ but they get upset when they attract perverts Now I can understand if it's warm or it's sunny/ and I can even understand if you wanna show off your tummy/ but when guys gawk and stare and talk at your tits/ don't get upset, don't throw a fuckin’ fit/ don't throw a fit/ or give me that shit/ because unfortunately, you were hoping for it Sure must be nice to have the body and be able/ to show off to everyone your newly pierced navel/ and when the rabid wolves howl and the sick pigs squeal/ you can pat yourself on the back for puking up your meals/ I see your gut, but I ain't turned on/ and all I can think of are my long john's Another day, another competition/ the endless quest for superficial attention/ no matter the forecast your clothing is consistent/ what I’d like to know is how you got so weather resistant/ you're resistant to comprehension/ it's what you need to understand you're dying for attention
12.
Hey brah! Wanna be on my new surf video/ Yeah, like all you gotta do is wear our new clothing line on stage/ and put up some corporate banners/ You'll be hanging out with all the right people Sick of your money, sick of your bullshit, sick of your sell out tactics X2 We're not gonna be on your video, we're not gonna wear no stupid clothes X4 Sick of your money, sick of your bullshit, sick of your sell out tactics X2

Drug War 02:33
Another kingpin is finally busted and thousands rush to take his place/ politicians know the war on drugs is nothing but a wild goose chase/ drug dealers doing more time than rapists, how does that make any sense/ longer conviction than attempted murder, even on the first offense/ the claim legal drugs would increase crime is too much shit for me to swallow/ but sadly enough, our leaders know the average citizen will blindly follow/ drug education programs are taught by your local cops/ never addressing core issues, like the lack of decent paying jobs Keeping drugs illegal, a blessing to organized crime/ drug dealers will always be in business until their cash crop becomes benign/ keeping drugs illegal, it’s the moral thing to do/ yet it employs millions of dealers, which keeps the money illegal too Does the DEA actually believe they have made a dent in the drug trade/ are they really that stupid or just blind to reality/ kicking in doors, revoking revoking rights, smashing civil liberties/ the pull of making cash like the rich entraps the poor and minorities/ busting petty dealers, they load up the van day by day/ doesn’t curb the sale of drugs in any truly effective way/ arresting would be purchasers in undercover operation stings/ prosecuting instead of rehabilitating doesn’t help a fuckin’ thing Keeping drugs illegal, who does it really defeat/ those in impoverished areas, which keeps the violence alive in their streets/ keeping drugs illegal, funneling funds to the “war”/ job training, rehabilitation, nonexistent anymore
